Dalam membentuk kalimat passive, harus diingat bahwa:

- verb yang dipakai harus verb-3

- Tense kalimat tidak boleh berubah . Simple prsent tetap harus simple present, present continuous harus tetap present continuous, simple future tetap harus simple futurem dst.

- subjek kalimat passive adalah apa yang tadinya adalah objek kalimat aktif. Subjek ini bisa singular, bisa plural, dan itu akan menentukan penggunaan to be/modals (is/am/are/as/were/will dst) sesuai tense nya.
